Timing Sampling Around Thai Retail Peaks
Weekend mall traffic and weekday modern-trade patterns ask for different sampling windows. Here is how we schedule crews in Bangkok.
Sampling budgets disappear quickly when ambassadors stand idle through a quiet mid-morning, then scramble when the after-work rush arrives. In Bangkok modern trade, weekday peaks often cluster after 17:30, while malls stretch later on Friday and Saturday evenings.
We map each door’s known rush using retailer guidance and prior shift notes, then stagger tasting slots so fresh product and clean stations coincide with footfall—not with a generic nine-to-five roster.
For chilled or heat-sensitive samples, we also plan cooler rotations and shorter open windows. A shorter, denser sampling block usually outperforms a long shift that looks busy on a timesheet but thin on real conversations.
When you brief us, share any category seasonality—festival calendars, payday weekends, and school holidays all reshape Thai retail traffic. We fold those into the roster before the first kit leaves our Siphraya office.
